SIXFIVE Series, is a new division of the mobile audio brand Memphis Audio, is using CEDIA Expo 2022 today to introduce its lineup of in-wall custom speakers using the company’s TurboMount technology.
The SIXFIVE Series home audio business grew out of Memphis Audio’s (founded in 1965) passion for sound and audio performance in mobile electronics.
SIXFIVE speakers feature the company’s TurboMount Technology, which it bills as “the fastest and easiest mounting system on the market.”

The design includes a simple flip of a switch to automatically deploy and adjust the doglegs to the depth of the mounting surface in a single rapid motion. This is said to allow installers to save time, money and frustration during installations.
SIXFIVE’s products are slated to arrive in Q1-2022, and the CEDIA showcase inside the Powerhouse Alliance booth at the show, will stand as the division’s product soft launch, the company said.
The lineup includes in-ceiling/wall speakers and subwoofers designed to produce a next-level audio experience.
The VSeries “premium in-wall speakers,” include four models, all of which are said to deliver clear and accurate audio replication using premium materials.
The MSeries “performance in-wall speakers” includes three models designed to deliver a balance of performance and value. These speakers offer essential features and clear and accurate sound performance in a range of mounting situations.
